14th of April 2016 on the base of the Caspian State University of technologies and engineering named after Sh. Esenov was held Roundtable discussion "The interaction role of education and production in the training of qualified personnel for the Kazakhstan maritime industry" with expert participation of the RoK marine transportation.

The representative of the YKK company at the event was Yuri KIOR which is holding the General Director position.

During the roundtable, it was discussed the questions of high-quality training for the maritime industry, including developments of professional standards.

For boundaries expansion of effective cooperation of CSUTE named after Sh. Esenov and the marine transportation enterprises in training of marine experts the Memorandum of cooperation has been signed.

The purpose of the Memorandum signing was:

• To create the working group on the development of the professional standards, describing professional competencies of maritime industry according to the levels of the National Qualifications.
• To provide interaction with National Chamber Entrepreneur of "Atameken" in Mangystau Region, Maritime Transportation Entrepreneur Association in the definition of methodological approaches in the formation of professional standards.
• To develop educational programs for the training of maritime personnel, based on professional competencies modules described by professional standards.
• To provide joint participation of employers and CSUTE named after Sh. Esenov in development of normative documents, educational and methodical materials in the maritime transport field (national, international and professional standards, textbooks, manuals, and others.)

To assist in the organization of professional practice, including shipboard training to trainees of CSUTE named after Sh. Esenov.
