22nd of November 2017 on YKK Aktau Base the Roundtable discussion on the topic “Training organization of marine specialists and swimming practice in the RoK” was conducted.  The event was organized by YKK Kazakhstan together with "Association of Shipowners and Entrepreneurs of the Marine Industry" on behalf of the Ministry of RoK.

The Roundtable was attended by Deputy of RoK Main Transport Prosecutor - Kasymbayev B., Deputy Chairman of the Transport Committee - Nurkenov K., Representatives of: Investment Ministry and RoK Development, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of RoK population, Akimat of Mangystau Region, Educational Institutions — Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh.Yessenov, Kazakhstan Maritime Academy under the Kazakh-British Technical University, Atyrau Oil & Gas University, also shipping companies and other interested state authorities and organizations.

Participants were demonstrated practical exercises of the below courses: «Basic Sea Survival + Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)», «TEMPSC» and «Fire Fighting».

There was shown the demonstration of Marine training vessel "Nomad", intended for students traineeship of higher education institutions and experts of sea branch in the Aktau seaport by Caspian Offshore Construction Company.

Memorandums of cooperation between YKK Kazakhstan Training & Service Center and the Higher Educational Institutions were signed for further work.

There were signed the Contracts of intent between:

- YKK Kazakhstan and Caspian Offshore Construction Company for providing multilevel integrated training for marine industry specialists and students of universities in Kazakhstan.

- YKK Kazakhstan and Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

This event is the beginning (the first stage) of the issue solution of "training organization for marine specialists and swimming practice in the RoK".
