YKK employees more than once surprised us with their activity and energy not only at work but also outside work.   Despite the busy work days, our employees always try to find the time for their favorite hobby.

Besides the fact that YKK activists consist of musical groups, periodically go on airsoft games, they also do not fear the mountains.  And we're not just talking about our Rescuers-Men.

In July 2016 the representative of women’s side of YKK Team, Elmira Satyyeva has decided to diversify the everyday life with an ascent to the Elbrus mountain. She was not frightened nor height mountain (5642 meters above sea level), nor the difficulty of the climbing and certainly nor the temperature at the top of the mountain, which even in July may drop to -40.

Having worked in YKK Aktau office for about 4 years with professional rescuers and alpinists, as seen Elmira took over from them not only the iron self-control but also love to adventure.

Despite the complexity of preparation which takes about 8 days and ascension (12 hours), she nevertheless could not get out of the way and capture her shining with happiness and pride face on top of Caucasian mountain. As Elmira says «Everything was very difficult, but the character has won».

We only regret that in the turmoil of preparations, Elmira forgot to bring the YKK flag and place it on the top. But we hope that it will serve as motivation for other employees and YKK flag still will find the place at top of Elbrus.
